It is almost impossible to comprehend the suffering, exploitation and abuse of children around the world. The world's most vulnerable girls and boys are raped, forced into early marriage, enslaved in sex trade and used as labor. Their days are filled with dread and their nights with pain. They are alone with no adults in their lives to offer them protection.
If not for the "House of Love" in the Ivory Coast this would be the plight of 15 to sometimes 30 children. "House of Love" provides these children with new hope and new life. It provides these boys and girls with a recovery center from trauma and offers them a safe shelter, food, and health care. To think that in this day and age children are still being used as sacrifices is incomprehensible. But that is exactly what is taking place in the country of the Ivory Coast; therefore, the House Mother (Ester) had to relocate the facility to a gated compound for the protection of the children. For just $20 a month you can partner with us in helping one child after another escape a life of horror. It is so easy to help these children just be kids again.
